Sunday, March 23, the Third Huizinga Lecture will take place in De Oostkerk. A festive conclusion of the Book Week. This year the focus will be on Johan Huizinga's influential work 'Homo Ludens', which brought him worldwide fame as a cultural philosopher.
After previous lectures on Huizinga's life and work, this edition promises to be another inspiring evening. Speakers are Prof. Han van Ruler and writer Arnon Grunberg, with musical accompaniment by violinist Marieke Brokamp.
